The cleaning method involves placing ice cubes on the plate after turning it off and after 30/45 minutes (still warm), which will immediately evaporate. Then, the scraper-cutter should be gently passed to remove as much grease as possible, followed by a damp cloth. Do not use degreaser until the next day, before turning the plate back on, and the surface will remain shiny as new. This plate is always smooth.
